ocean's twelve

i went to the magic 89.9 advance screening of ocean's 12 last night.

wala akong klase kagabi, na-move yung compiler lab ko ng sunday. astig no? mon-sun meron akong klase, para na talaga akong magpapakamatay this term. meron akong software lab, feasibility, design2, a.i.(artificial intelligence, eto lang gs2 kong subj), management, verilog (vhdl) at yung lintik na sunday kong subject. ang saya-saya no?

eh wala pang unix kahapon (yun lang ang klase ko ng wed, ang saya-saya no?), eh gabi pa yung premiere night, kaya ng premiere night. naglibot ako sa megamol, kala ko kasi dadating yung kasama ko eh 3pm ako dumating. linsyak! wala akong kasama, kaya nag-movie marathon na lang. eh badtrip puro filmfest pa rin, so pang-APAT na movie na yung napanood ko. di naman talaga ako mahilig sa pinoy movies... promise, inde tlaga.

7pm, lumabas ako ng mano po 3. tapos dinner. tapos dumating na yung kasama ko manood. dumating cya nung nakapasok na lahat yung nasa pila. kaya inisip ko na mukhang first row kami sa sinehan. astig! inde kami first row! third lang, at medyo gilid pa... ang saya-saya no?

tapos, dun sa nakakatawang part ng ocean's twelve pa nawala yung sounds. astig talaga warner brothers. ganun pala pag premiere night, may repercussions pag ikaw nauna manood ng isang movie sa isang bansa.

natawa lang ako ke li'l joey sumasayaw sa entrance ng sinehan.

sinipon ako kagabi. more than 5 hours akong nakakulong sa sinehan.

dumating ako sa bahay ng 1130pm. gumising ng 445am kasi 730am ang klase ko ngayon. ang saya-saya noh?

kaklase ko ngayon ang matagal ko ng crush sa mapua. kaso graduating na. at least, meron pa 'kong 11 wks. syet!

LAST NIGHT

i got home around 9pm, nakahabol sa lovers in paris. tapos nalimutan ko amazing race pala! naabutan ko pa rin... buti non-elimination, i like hayden and aaron!

i got home last night unaware of my tv marathon. i was partly happy but mostly sad. i feel like i was used. why can't people be straightforward to what they wanted from the start so people like me won't end up with this drama???

i was laughing when i heard my friend reading that. is it for real?


now, i think it is. it is so fucked up. this book is changing me. word per word, i am getting goosebumps. i quietly tell myself that this book is right. it is right.

kung nababasa nyo lang planner ko, crowded na. here's an excerpt...

wed: punta strat ortigas legacy main office

gagawa kasi kami ng software para sa multi-level marketing network na to. in short, pyramiding. member kasi yung prof ko sa software lab. kelangan daw kami umaten ng seminar. shit!

thu: gawa ng lexical analyzer ng compiler ng html. maghapon after ng klas.

defense nito sa sunday, one week lang. astig. wala namang compiler ng html, ryt?

fri:deadline progress report sa design: barcoded vehical gate pass for security in ayala alabang village residents. cool ng title. kaso ang herrraff!

wala pa kaming makitang murang barcode reader. tulong naman dyan! di tuloy namin maupisahan. may database pa aside sa barcode reader na magcoconfirm kung authorize yung sasakyan nila. software + hardware = hell!

sat: tapusin ang requirements specification ng software para sa legacy AND tapusin ang lexical analyzer

1030 to 12 lang klas ko ng sabado kaso mukhang aabutin ako ng sunday morning...

sun: defense ng lexical analyzer 130pm AND finalize requirements specification

kung may overtime pay lang ang estudyante, mayaman na ko!!!

got class til 12nn, but i have to stay until 7:30pm inside the library. yeah! more than six freakin' hours just to get the job done! cool and nerdy, eh?

are we paid to study or we study to get paid? i remember one prof of mine reiterating his point:

the days of high-paying jobs are gone... gone...

so, am i really here to study to land a good job or do i really want to learn? what is learning anyway?

bakit program lang namin ang hinangaan ng prof ko sa compiler kanina sa defense? nagovernight kami kagabi, pero before 10pm tapos na namin. magaling ba talaga kami?
